HSCT Objectives

To keep our community involved in our goals and our future,
and to promote shelter transparency, we proudly present the following Shelter Objectives as part of our three-year Strategic Plan:

1. Board Development
Goal: To develop and maintain an effective Board of Directors that will set policy consistent with our mission.

2. Facility
Goal: To provide the optimum facility to meet current and projected program and animal care needs.

3. Fundraising
Goal: To increase privately-raised funds to advance the mission of the Humane Society of Central Texas.

4. Pet Overpopulation
Goal: To measurably reduce the overpopulation of animals in Central Texas.

5. Marketing/PR
Goal: To raise awareness of our mission while creating a positive image.
